Why a Blog?

The voice of one crying out into cyberspace.

The opinions expressed in this blog are my own (unless otherwise noted) and as such are not free from error.  This is not a forum to push my own personal agenda on anyone.  It is merely a presentation of my experience and perception of the world as a fellow pilgrim on the journey of life.  As a person of faith, I try to adhere to the teachings of the Catholic Church as close as possible.  Also as a Licensed Professional Counselor I work to uphold to the professional standards of conduct and ethics.   I am open to comments, suggestions, and criticism.  I respect the views of all persons from all backgrounds.  All are welcome to visit or not to visit this site.

It is my hope that you will stick around.

I love this quote from Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta:

“The greatest disease in the West today is not TB or leprosy; it is being unwanted, unloved, and uncared for. We can cure physical diseases with medicine, but the only cure for loneliness, despair, and hopelessness is love. There are many in the world who are dying for a piece of bread but there are many more dying for a little love. The poverty in the West is a different kind of poverty — it is not only a poverty of loneliness but also of spirituality. There’s a hunger for love, as there is a hunger for God.”  (Obtained from goodreads.com).

She also said:

“If you judge people, you have no time to love them.”
